This is my blog site where I will post things concerning my spiritual experiences with God prior to the Immersion Trip and during the adventure as well. For those of you who may not know about this trip, let me fill you in on how God has been working in my life. Not to long ago God wrecked my heart and changed my aspirations from becoming a doctor, to pursuing Him in the field of ministry. At first I did not know exactly what this calling would entail but in the past few months His plans for me have begin to unfurl. I have a strong desire to do mission work, meaning I want to take the Gospel of Christ to the entire world. To be the light in the darkness, to bring hope to the hopeless, to show love to the unlovable, and to bring the Good news to the lost.
The mission trip I will be embarking on on September 1st of this year is a 9 month trip to Southeast Asia, Africa, and Central America. I cannot begin to describe the excitement I have for this trip! It is bound to be an experience like no other and it is going to be awesome to see the same God we serve here, moving and changing lives around the globe. It will definitely be a way of getting me out of my comfort zone, but comfortable is no place to be when it comes to serving our Father.
