I meant to give an update sooner but blogging while working at a summer camp is a bit of a struggle. Anyways, I have been meaning to write about last week and what my squad and I experienced at our training camp. To say God was present there is an understatement because the Holy Spirit  manifested itself in ways I had never seen. I heard people speak in tongues, people prophecy over one another, and i even witnessed healing take place.  All this happened in only one week of worship, so I can only imagine what God wants, and is going to do, in 9 months of serving Him.

"Look at the nations and watch-and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you not believe, even if you were told"  Habakkuk 1:5

God wants to work in all His children in ways that stretch far beyond our wildest dreams. The Holy Spirit wants to empower the sons and daughters of the Most High Father so that we may glorify Him and-like I wrote in my last blog-bring Heaven to earth. This last week taught me how important it is to be dependent upon the Holy Spirit, and that through the gifts that come with the Spirit absolutely anything is possible. Despite the great revelations that came from that week, I also realized some truths that I have been blinded to and that is how many Christians and churches today are not in tune with the Spirit. They are led by schedules and routines, rather than the spontaneity and passion that comes from living in step with the Holy Spirit.

So what I want to encourage in this blog is for you to do something new, something different, something outside of your comfort zone. Whenever we seek God in new ways, He will then reveal Himself in new ways. Go a little deeper, let God pull you a little closer; press in to Him because He promises to press back.

"The greater the admiration, the greater the revelation." In other words, the more we give, the more we praise, the more God will show us and change us.
